I don’t know where post frogs are, but I do know what they do – they jump! They jump into postboxes and they take all the post and they give it to the right people. They can read very well.
They can jump across seas although it takes them about an hour. If they’ve forgotten that they’re jumping to an island instead of a continent they can suddenly drop down in mid-jump. They usually just jump on the island. They can go right to the bottom of the sea and swim under the sand, but only on big emergencies.
They can easily put torches near their eyes but not both eyes because that makes their eyes go into their head, so they eat chocolate straight after. They can eat chocolate even if their eye goes into their head, and thoughts of eating chocolate can help find it. Because you can only find your eye again with your thoughts.
They can eat a mountain of chocolate and they never get sick.
Once on Christmas day the Mr. Phistilophs group of post frogs set out to deliver chocolate and cakes to all the people’s houses on just after the evening of Christmas eve. It’s not time for Santa yet. They jump onto the roofs and jump down the chimneys and find the people’s rooms and they put the chocolate beside their beds. In the morning the people are just waking up and they see the presents and they think “Oh, Santa’s been very nice,” but then they see the label that says from and delivered by the Mr. Phistilophs group of post frogs.
Suddenly they see some legs coming down the chimney. It’s Santa! When he sees them he jumps and runs back up the chimney. Then they see four green legs coming down the chimney. They think it’s an alien with four legs. They jump and run away. Then two small post frogs run past and put the wrappers from the chocolates in their post frog bin to take back home. Then the people see that it’s not presents but chocolates, because the post frogs have taken the wrappers away so they can use then again.
